Learning languauges beyond the "where is the bathroom" kind of interaction is difficult for me because at some level, I just seem to need more immersion. Reading helps a lot-so does watching TV in the chosen language--but it take time and effort--My hat is off to you! Right now, I am making my way through a cookbook in Russian--it is fun!
