Thank you for sharing this LIndsey. You are so brave, in so many respects. I am sorry that this happened to you and your children, but I am glad you are out the other side. I had a similar situation in my first marriage, although ending it was easier. It wasn't me that he hit, but my daughter. What strikes me is that I knew you during all of this and never knew this was going on. There is a saying from somewhere about being kind to people because you never know what people are going through.
