Yup--there is so much bad "poetry" out there--This is a complicated subject really, but suffice it to say that the art form takes years to refine--and many people never get there--in the interim, we all try to find language that moves another person emotionally-some poets adhere more to form, some poets bend all the rules, and some write for the cathartic value of writing--find what moves you and what attracts you--there is also a lot of great poetry out there--
